Dr. Provence extracted two of my sons primary teeth for orthodontics and he did an outstanding job. My son is 14 and has never had any dental procedures other than routine cleanings and exams at the general dental office and he had a very pleasant experience today. Dr. Provence is very skilled, knowledgeable, and was very careful and took his time especially with the injection which made all the difference. Connie assisted and her calming nature kept him comfortable and relaxed throughout the appointment. We had a fantastic experience. Thank you TN Oral Surgery!

I don’t normally write reviews and oddly enough I never really saw them as important, even though before I choose a place to conduct business I often go to the reviews. Dr. Spencer Haley has made me rethink this. I first walked into, Dr. Haley’s, Tennessee Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, office on a Tuesday after going to my dentist the day before with a terrible abscessed tooth. My face, looking like a cross between a food hoarding chipmunk and ETs dotty old aunt, I walked in and immediately felt like this was definitely the best choice I could have made in the Nashville, TN area for an oral surgeon. I was supposed to have come back the next day for the tooth extraction but after a consultation and me telling him that I was from the Clarksville area, he and the staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating or possessing a greater chairside manner, made time to do this procedure that day, instead of me driving back the next day or suffering another night. The nurses kept me calm, the idle chatter definitely helped. They showed great care towards me from beginning to end. Minus the initial numbing needle (impossible to avoid) the stick is extremely short before the numb takes over, a second or two at most, I swear the entire procedure was painless. The laughing gas helped as well. The next day, I called with questions. The voice on the other end could not have been nicer, more helpful or patient if they tried. A day later, I dropped by the office, no appointment, with a few concerns and was seen within a couple of hours and all my questions, concerns and a quick recheck to make sure all was going well was done with the same kindness and consideration as when I arrived that Tuesday afternoon. Afterward the procedure they explained everything I needed to do and in no way did I feel shoved out the door, like someone else was waiting and was more important. It is rare to find an office where literally every person that I met, from reception to the doc himself, was not only pleasant but genuinely seem to care about the patient and not just the insurance. Dr. Haley is an oral surgeon, thus it is unlikely you will leave with the same number of teeth as you walked in with, or maybe you will luck out. It is probably not on a patients mind to call someone in such an occupation a blessing, but from here on out, that is exactly what his patients and future patients should know about him. I won’t call him a tooth fairy, you will not receive a dollar for the pulled specimen, but he is definitely a tooth angel, because when you walk out, you are just going feel that your health will be greatly improved. This doctor and his staff truly do go out of their way to help you through a difficult, painful time. I personally would like to say thank you to everyone at Dr. Haley’s office for the best care I could have ever hoped for.
